Tricky Tuesday
In fourth grade we have been talking about tricky words.
When I need to find out tricky words I write them down first then I say them out loud just like I do in my homework the spelling bee packet and writing.
You figure out the tricky word by sounding it out or finding out the base of the word the spell the rest.

ReplyDeleteThose are great ideas if you have them available! However, sometimes I am reading on the beach and then I don't have a dictionary or internet!

ReplyDeletePracticing saying a word out loud is always a good trick! Then you can hear what sounds like a word that you have read before!
